The Jones is a restaurant in Hell's Kitchen featuring a large Keith Haring-like mural that sets the tone for the entire space. Their restroom is almost entirely painted with chalkboard paint, a perfect canvas to create fun seasonal images. I was asked to design and create custom chalkboard pieces for their restroom, front entrance and their sidewalk sign. My goal was to create work that evoked the same feeling as the mural found in the restaurant. Keeping design elements as cohesive as possible. I stuck with muted green and white for most pieces and added red for a little extra pop.
